 PHYSICS:

Physics is the branch of science which deals with the study of matter,energy and their mutual releationship

BRANCHES OF PHYSICS:

1-MECHANICS:

It is the study of motion of objects,its causes and effects

2-HEAT:

It deals with the nature of heat, modes of transfer and effects of heat

3-SOUND:

It deal with the physical aspects of sound waves, their production , properties and application

4-LIGHT(OPTICS):

It is the branch of physics which involves the behaviour and properties of light, including its interactions with matter and the construction of instruments that use or detect it. Optics usually describes the behaviour of visible , ultraviolet and infrared light

5-ELECTRICIRY AND MAGNETISM:

It is the study of charge at rest and in motion, their effects and their releationship with magnetism

6-PLASMA PHYSICS:

It is the study of production,properties of the ionic state of matter-the fourth state of matter

7-GEOPHYSICS:

It is the study of internal structure of the earth

8-NUCLEAR PHYSICS:

The branch of physics which deal with atomic nuclei is called nuclear physics

9-MEDICAL PHYSICS:

It is the application of physics to madicine. it generally concerns physics as applied to medical and radiotherapy

10-SOLID STATE PHYSICS:

• The branch of physics which is concerned with the structure and properties of solid is called solid state physics
